they say it's your birthday.

yup.
today is miss makayla marie's birthday. she has finally hit the big ten. or "double digits." as she always says. she is just a bundle of joy.
on account of her being ten. let me tell you ten things i love about her.
ready. set. go.
a. she shares the love of creating. she creates every chance she gets. she is practically a little pro artist. and i am being completly serious.

b. she is a worrier. that sounds like it is a bad thing. it isn't she worries. about everything. and everyone. and tries whatever she can to make things better. so cute.

c. she is a die hard. for the cougars. and dresses appropriatly for each and every game. whether it be a home game. or away. or on TV. she dresses for the occasion.
d. she is a junk food junkie. she will claim she isn't hungry. until she hears the word "sugar." and woah. that's it. see you makayla. she gorges. everytime. but. it's cute.

e. she gets excellent grades. and is a perfectionist. must have that A. or E. as they call it in elementary school.
f. she plays soccer. she is agressive. but. no matter what the play, who is winning, or even if she got kicked hard in the shins. she is still smiling. she is always smiling. she plays for pure enjoyment.

g. she still loves barbies. and taylor swift.

h. when she tells a story, her entire face lights up. real happy like. and she grins from ear to ear. she starts talking real fast. and you know she is done, because at the end. she sighs. a fresh sigh of relief. adorable.

i. she's shy. and it is oh so cute.

j. she always showers at the same time. every night. and frets if she doesn't. love it.

miss makayla is a doll.
and we wouldn't be the same without it.
