Well. Wow. The Holidays truly are upon us, it is exhilirating, no? Yes I believe so. I should probably write this year, 2009's "I am grateful for" list hey? So here goes.
Harry Potter: I suppose I should get my priorities in line, because yes, the very first thing on my grateful list is harry. Harry is the reason I live, breath, eat, and sleep. Harry is my life. He is the meaning of my existance. I started reading about his life to be different, but I soon learned that Harry is everything I want my soul mate to be. I heart Harry Potter. Oh. Harry. He has taught me so much, go after your dreams. Haa. Oh Harry, Oh Harry.
The Book of Mormon: This book, in all reality is my life. This year, I have read it, again, for about the third time I suppose. But, I have read it with more meaning. I have read and put myself in the stories, I have read and imagined what it would be like to be in Nephi's shoes. I have read with the deepest desire to gain for myself a testimony of its truth. I have not missed a day, I cannot go to bed without reading it, I dont fall asleep. I lie there in the bed, awaiting sleep, but out of no where I feel dirty, and I realize it is because I have not read, so I hop out of bed and open that book and read. Some nights, I cannot put it down. It has extremly blessed my life, as I read it, I can feel my Savior's love all around me, telling me that if i keep reading my scriptures and praying, I will be blessed, and that is the greatest feeling. The Book of Mormon has made me who I am today, granted, I am still far from perfect, but it helps me work on it. I don't doubt the power of the Book of Mormon. It has been the center of my life, and will continue to be. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon.
My Daddy: Oh. My father, he is my best friend. Even though I have no idea what he is up to more oft then not, my daddy keeps me in line. He teaches me everything I need to know, he takes me to Savers at random moments. We spend out Friday and Saturday nights discusssing Harry and watching Chuck Norris, Steven Segall, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne movies. He has sense of humor that can handle anything and teaches me to just let it go. My father, well, I would have to say he is my hero.
The Church: Well, I may not show alot of respect for alot of things, as we have covered before, I am fully aware of that. I am aware that I should probably work on that, but one thing I do have respect for and always have is my Church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I dont talk out of turn, I keep my mouth shut at the appropriate times, I never doubt what the Bishop teaches me. I address my leaders and neighbors as "brother" and "sister". The gospel is what my life is based upon. It is the meaning to my life. I could never deny my beliefs. I believe in the Gospel because it is what I want to do, not what I am forced to do.
Freedom: I am sooooooo grateful for freedom. I am so grateful to be able to do what I want. I am so grateful to have the freedom to choose to do something. Freedom, oh I am so grateful to be a free spirit.
That's it for now, I will be back with more. Oh. Boy. I will see you then
