so.

i guess i am officially a college student. i go to a singles ward. and i sit with other college students. and we are all in the same boat.
except. i feel like everyone is taking it much better than i am.
i cry. all the time. which is odd. cause. hello. since when do i cry?
when i go to college i guess.

i sleep in a twin bed now.
i haven't slept on one since the age of five.
that's a big change.
and the anxiety keeps me from eating.

but. i have roomies.
five of them.
their names? brittney, kamie, jordan, hannah, & alisa. plus me, i am mandi,
we sound like a cheer squad. right?
i thought so.

i've been in ephraim for 24 hours.
and the power has been out three times.
guess i had better pray.
also. can you pray for me?
i just really need it.

keep going, you'll make it. I know how you feel with the sudden surge of emotions and anxiety, i'm in the same boat. but you are a very strong person, you can do this. And yes i will pray for you. that's what friends are for right? keep going mandi, you're awesome. also if you need a friend to talk to i'm always available.

i forgot to eat too. then i only ate croutons.
don't do that.
it will pass.
the power will go out a gagillion more times.
and some other random things you never thought would happen.
it's better to get the crying out now.
it means you'll dive in faster
also...once school actually starts, you'll realize it's not so bad.
there are a lot of...weirdies down in ephraim, bless their souls. embrace it.
college aren't all down days. there are a lot more ups. but realize, there will be some days where all you wanna do is curl up in a ball in your bed.
realize that's okay.
also realize naps are heaven sent. college kids need em more than toddlers.
also. it's an adventure. all you'll love it.
i promise.

p.s. this is far too long. I should have just dedicated a blog post for you.
