rolling like thunder.

johanna and i tried to be cool last night. and we nearly attended our first party. of our senior year. okay. not our first party. but something like that. long story short. we just didn't find it. an hour or two and a quarter of a tank later, we settled for my house, the fire place and christopher plummer. and julie andrews. we stayed up the majority of the night. watching the sound of music. i, singing along. johanna shushing me. it was fun. it was a fun time.
you know this song. i think it's a nice story. and that a film should be made. based upon it. on 94.1. they play elton john at least twelve times a day. you think i am kidding. i'm not.

"so shine on through these days we have to fill."
-sir elton john

i nearly forgot. last week. on saturday. for the preference. i crossed number 8. off my birthday. wear velvet to a dance. check. it feels nice to cross things off.
i hear champagne doesn't taste very good. i also hear it is romantic. so. which do you choose? distaste or romance? it is something to think about.
today. the snow has still not come. this calls for a cheer. and i do cheer. i can still ride my bike. granted, i must bundle up. but there is no ice. and jairu and i like that.
thanks jesus today. he's a good guy.
