So. You can't be my friend...

Because I hang out with Jamal.
What the is wrong with that statement. I am sure as heck not going to lose another best friend. This is what I was told today, when I asked, "Are you joking?" His reply, "Do I look like I am joking?" My words, "Dont do this to me." His words, "I can hang out with you when you're not with Jamal." My reply to that, "Don't do this to me. Don't push me out." His, "I'm not, I just need to start over, I have lost everything." "You haven't lost me baby, you still have me." His reply, "You're right. I still have you, you're the only thing I've got."

This convo went on and on and on. But we came to the conclusion that I wont let him leave, and that no matter what, we're still best friends, nothing can change that. Yet.....

On a happier note, I have decided that every day, I will try to find at least 10 positive things that happen, 10 things that make my day go just that much smoother, things such as:

1. I was in all but 4 club pictures. My face will be in the year book many times.
2. Bayles makes me laugh, he makes me smile, he tells me stories of a former teacher, Mr. Tom and the fun they had together in Boston.
3. Jamal and I went to Gandi's for lunch, that worked out very nice for the both of us. I am really getting to enjoy his company.
4. Only six more swim practices to go for the week.
5. Zach Hulsey is genuine so is jeff. So is andrew. I heart my swim team boys.
6.Hirsche. I am just grateful he's still around. He's learning to be happy, even when everything is crashing down around him. He's pulling through.
7. My lil sis, Makayla made me cupcakes to eat when I got home. They were cute. She's cute. I love lil sibs. Don't you?
8. School? Gah. I still hate it, but I am making friends with the friends of friends. So I guess that counts for something.
9. I busted out to N'sync when I got home, I am remembering a previous love for them, and it is quickly resurfacing.
10. Despite all that goes wrong, God still loves me!
