savers. i heart you.

There are fivedays a year I look forward to.....

-Christmas, and the four savers half off days

Strange choice? Paha. I think not. Memorial day and labor day have my heart for one reason and one reason only. And no, its not for bbq's and fam get togthers. It is for the one and only, or four and only, SAVERS HALF OFF DAY. I don't think you fully understand my obsession with savers. Si. I shop there at the very least, once a week. At the very most, I have hit it up everyday, monday thru saturday. Its safe to say I am a compulsive shopper.

Well. I had been looking forward to this for awhile, shooting texts and phone calls in every direction spreading the word, hoping for a nice turn out. When the blesses monday finally arrived, I drove to megs' where she and rita followed behind phil and i and we headed to pick up miss michalla. After getting sir hirsche out of bed, we arove at savers. At 6:30 in the a.m. We were only three peeps from the front of the line! Oh for the love, that was a sweet sweet sweet victory. We, as a group, had a large turn out. There were about 8 or 9 of us. Which was nice, concluding the crowd to be all of mexico, half of guatamala, a choice few from PGHS, and some burn outs. As 6:50 flashed upon my phone, i began to get antsy. The time ticked slowly, until finally, they opened the doors. We stormed in, flying through isles, throwing into our cart whatever caught our eyes. Sweaters, boots, jackets, jerseys, pants, bags, hats, medallions, blazers, if you can name it, it was in our cart. Pretty soon the dear cart was overloaded and it was time to sort. The fun part.

When all was said and done, I ended up with 2 sweaters, 2 jackets, 1 cardigan, a fanny pack, a medallion, 2 oversized t-shirts and 12 dollars less then what I started with. But hey baby. Hey baby. It's grand. Never been? Call me up and we'll hit the next one.

Oh baby. Oh baby. Oh baby. I heart savers.
