Once upon a time there was a girl named mandi, and she had a best friend named Hirsche. They went to the same school. They were best friends all summer and genuinly enjoyed eachother's friendship, until one day they started to fight. And fight. And fight. But for some reason they stuck together through thick and thin even tho they were always irked with eachother. Then after they had been fighting for some time, they decided fighting was ridiculous and that best friends really shouldn't do that. So, hirsche suggested they dedicate a weekend for just the two of them to do what mandi wanted and not to argue. Friday night at the football game, they argued and argued, mandi almost went home, hirsche went to his girlfriend, but after the game, they became friends again and went to mandi's and ate oreos and peanut butter and watched one of their obsessions, Harry Potter dos. But. They both fell asleep on mandi's futon, so that doesn't really count for anything.
Then saturday came. Hirsche called mandi, mandi was running. Mandi called hirsche back. Hirsche came to mandi's. While raiding her kitchen, they were talking about what they would do for the day, hirsche said, "Aren't we going to the india fest?" Mandi said, "Well I would much rather see the baby elephant at the Hogle zoo." Hirsche said, "You want to?" Mandi said, "Jump Back! Kiss yourself, best friend say what!?" So they went to the zoo and saw the baby elephant who is yet to be named. It was really nice. They spent 4 hours at the zoo. They became best friends again and didn't even argue once. Because best friends can make up. That's what they do.
On the way home, they got lost. They traveled for miles and miles in the wrong direction and took twice as long to get home and toured many different towns in utah. But they didn't mind. It was fun. Then Hirsche landed himself in unsocial lockdown and had to go home. But, hey. Mandi doesn't mind, because she and her best friend are best friends again.
