Evan, myself and the fam went to see the Oquirreh temple during the openhouse last week, and let me tell you, that temple is gorgeous. When we arrived, i looked at the outside and thought to myself....hmmmmm just blah. It wasn't anything gorgeous or spectac, but nonetheless, it was the house of the lord and i was stoked to go inside and check it out. As we entered, the feeling of peace came over me as it always does when entering the Lord's house, and I was in complete and total awe at the amazing, gorgeous handiwork that went into this. It was an experience of a lifetime. And, I hope that I get the chance to go through the open hous uno more time to recieve the full effect. But, going in there, even before the dedication, my troubles were just washed away and i didnt think about any of the outside world for a whole 30 minutes. It was well worth the trip.
I sat in the sealing room with evan, that was nice. Hmmm. And despite the beliefs of some....Evan kirby and myself are not romantically involved in any way, shape or form. He is my dear friend. I enjoy him. We have fun. That is all.
But. The temple. I love to see it and you'd better believe I sure as heck am going there someday!
